Pray that our Youth will answer God's call to a vocation as a priest, sister, deacon or other role in the church!

Although it is not a sacrament, the Quinceanera Mass is a beautiful way for a young lady to publicly express her commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church. In order to emphasize the sacredness of the Quinceanera Mass, and to make your Quinceanera more meaningful, we have adopted the following policies.

Applicants must be registered and participating members of Holy Family or St. Gianna Oratory for at least 12 months PRIOR to the application. Quinceaneras are celebrated twice each year: the second Saturday in May and the second Saturday in September at 1:00 p.m.. If there is more than one applicant for a specific date, then the Quinceanera ceremony will be a group effort.

*Your family must be registered and participating at Holy Family or St. Gianna Oratory for at least 12 months PRIOR to the application. “Participating” means that you attend Mass every Sunday and are active in the life of the parish.

*The Quinceanera must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Pennance and First Communion.

*The Quinceanera must be Confirmed or actively preparing for Confirmation.

*The Quinceanera must show CONSISTENT attendance in religious educatio/youth group for two consecutive years PRIOR to the date of the Quinceanera.

*School aged children within the family must also show attendance in religious education for the two years prior to the Quinceanera date.

QUINCEANERA POLICIES: In order to preserve the sacredness of the Holy Mass we have adopted the following policies:

  •  Limousines are not allowed.

  •  No court (attendants) procession for the Liturgy. Members of the court are seated as part of the congregation.

  •  The Quinceanera may be escorted by her parents.

  •  Quinceanera is seated in the first pew with her parents - not in the center of the isle.

  •  The Quinceanera may offer flowers to Our Blessed Mother and profess her Prayer of Commitment.

  •  The Quinceanera's dress must be modest. Dresses may be "Sunday best" or may be semiformal. Traditional formal Quinceanera dresses are not allowed. Sleeveless, spaghetti straps, backless, and low cut attire are not allowed. Dresses may not be shorter than the top of the knee..

  •  Crowns may not be worn.

  •  Families are responsible for providing music. The music played must be sacred music appropriate for use in the Holy Mass.

  •  Any breach of the above policies will forfeit you deposit and your Quinceanera will be cancelled.

  • STOLE FEE - $350.00

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date once your application is accepted. This deposit will be applied to the total stole-fee. The balance must be paid no later than one month before the Quinceantera.

Your Quinceanera date and time cannot be set until the pastor has approved your application. Please do not make any arrangements until your application has been approved and the deposit has been accepted by our office.
