HELP IS AVAILABLE SUPPORT GROUP FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED WITH ADDICTIONS

Group meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at MOST HOLY TRINITY PARISH, 1300 N. Greasewood, in the Matthew Clark classrooms.

Each session starts with the rosary and ends in prayer.  A Catholic addiction counselor meets with the group each week who provides support and guidance for family. members suffering from a loved one’s addiction.  For more information call Ed and Olivia at 743-5267 or Ed and Carmen at 882-8613

 

A PRO LIFE HOLY HOUR is directed every Tuesday at 5:00 PM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales Parish.(1375 S. Camino Seco. The hour is directed by Deacon Frank Collura or Al Chockette, and includes adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, reflections and the rosary. For more information call Ann at 749-5241

 

Tucson Society of St. Vincent DePaul

Wants and needs: Furniture, especially sofas, kitchen ta-bles and unsoiled mattresses. Clothing, especially men’s and any miscellaneous household items, collectables and vehicles. Volunteers are needed for both Thrift Stores and Council office.

VOCATIONS DISCERNMENT GROUP

The Vocations Office is forming a second career priesthood discernment group for men 35-55 years old. If you are a practicing Catholic, unmarried, love the Mass, are basically happy, but looking for more in your life, you might consider joining the group. We will be meeting monthly to discuss, pray and discern about priestly vocations in the Diocese of Tucson. The Caridad Program needs volunteers to help serve meals to the homeless and the needy. Help is needed especially on Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM and on Sundays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.  We are also looking for an assistant to help Ms. Isabel Lira in her routine at Caridad. Moreover, the assistant will take over when Isabel is away for some time off or other religious needs. If you think you would like to assist our feeding program in this way, please call the parish office at 623-6773 and leave your name and number. Thank you for your consideration.

 

CATHOLIC COMMUNITY SERVICES in Southeastern Arizona provides a wealth of services to our neighbors in Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz Counties. This agency renders home health care and meals for seniors. Other services include domestic violence protection and counseling, transportation, adoption, and foster care. Catholic Community Services in Southeastern Arizona continues to grow to meet the needs of the community and will soon implement a new program for battered immigrant women with protective and healing services. Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood.  Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Tucson.  Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve y our people.  Bless our diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons, religious, and lay ministers to bring to lifethe Gospel and to realize the Church's mission in our diocese.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
